Connecting with Students

Email Pals  Grade Level/Subject: Elementary (Grades 3-5) – Social Studies & Writing Overview: Our class will write emails to students in other classrooms at different schools!   Virtual Open House for Parents Grade Level/Subject: Elementary (Grades 3-5) – All Subjects Overview: To help parents feel more connected to our classroom, I will host a Virtual Open House. Parents can join from home using Zoom or Google Meet to see what they are learning, classroom rules, and ways to help their child at home. If they can’t join live, they can watch a recording later. Before the Meeting: I will create a slideshow with class rules, learning goals, and important dates. Inviting Parents: I will send an email and a message on ClassDojo with a link and instructions. Helping All Parents: If parents can’t attend live, they can watch a recording later. I will als...
